When: 14th-16th October
Where: Sage Gateshead
TUSK Festival – the event that brings the best in avant garde and experimental music to the region – is returning for its sixth edition this October, bringing an ambitious, unique and diverse programme of events to the North East.
For the first time the event is being held at the Sage Gateshead, but the approach is no different: bring some of the best artists from the fringes of the music scene together into an unforgettable weekend of experimentalism and mind-bending anti-genre music. This year, the event features Javanese duo Senyawa, experimental supergroup Hen Ogledd, Irish cult singer Fovea Hex, underground legend Eddy Detroit, Argentinian psychedelic band Los Siquicos Litoralenos and many, many more.
Alongside the music, there’s also a jam-packed programme of arts events and workshops that help to illuminate the festival’s musical coverage even more and give the audience the chance to get involved.
