If you like your comedy with a bit of an edge, then this one’s for you. The Newcastle Alternative Comedy Festival returns to The Stand this October, bringing some slightly left-field, lesser-known but no less hilarious comedians to the venue.

The 16-day event is trying to ensure that there really is something for everyone with performances from Jason Byrne, Gary Delaney, Zoe Lyons, Seymour Mace and many more in store. In total, there’s over 100 acts set to tickle your funny bone, so you’re bound to find something that’s more than a little bit humerus (get it?)
